Early Morning Fire Sends One To Hospital
One person has been transported with minor injuries sustained during an early morning fire at Illahee Shores Mobile Home Park.
CKFR was dispatched to the call at 4:14 am this morning and found smoke and fire coming from the single family structure upon arrival.
The sole occupant reports they woke up and saw fire near the space heater in their bedroom. They evacuated and went to a neighbors home to call 911.
The Bremerton Fire Department also responded to provide mutual aid.
The Kitsap County Fire Marshal is investigating. There is fire damage to approximately 50% of the home and smoke damage throughout.
