Central Kitsap Fire and Rescue Volunteer Firefighter program allows the citizens
within our district boundaries to participate in the fire service and assist
their community at the same time.

Volunteer Resident Program
Central Kitsap Fire and Rescue has a new program, the Volunteer Resident
Program, which became effective October 1, 2004. The object is to provide
individuals with vital firsthand experience while providing emergency medical
service and fire protection to the public.

The service the fire department provides to our community continues to grow, yet the number of personnel to respond to emergencies has decreased.
