Confused About Burn Bans?

There are different types of burn bans
in Kitsap County. One is a permanent ban — prohibiting outdoor burning within Kitsap
County's urban growth boundaries. The others are measures to stop burning
temporarily for health or fire safety reasons.

CKFR Outdoor Burning Information
Due to the revision in our State laws, CKFR
was affected with a major change that affected the burn boundaries in our
serving area. The change created a NO BURN ZONE that includes all of Silverdale
and much of the area to the East and Southeast towards Bremerton.
